In a recent incident within World of Warcraft, some resourceful (or mischievous) players attempted to gain an unfair advantage. They reportedly exploited game bugs and even used other players, colloquially referred to as ‘rats,’ to try and defeat a ‘Midnight’ raid boss significantly earlier than intended. However, their efforts were in vain, as Blizzard Entertainment, the game’s developer, was quick to identify and counteract these illicit tactics, preventing the premature defeat of the boss.
